Wash Down
Ethan absolutely loves anything related to Thomas the Train, and it cracks me up how some of the British lingo from the show works itself into his vocabulary. We've been through Mike's carwash with Ethan several times, and today when we drove by it in the van, Ethan said "Mommy, the van needs a wash down" just like Thomas and the other engines.

Since our children's teachers are not Americans (they from New Zealand and England and Becca's teacher last year was from Australia), our kids have also picked up some different lingo. My faves:
"Biscuits" (cookies)
"Rubbish Bin" (trash can)
"Jumpers" (jackets)
