This morning I took Ethan to his preschool for a mini preview day. The teachers called it a tea party and invited a third of his class to each of three different half hour tea parties. We were invited to the first tea party of the day along with 4 of Ethan's new classmates. Ethan's class is instructed by 2 teachers, and his teachers explained their basic schedule and expectations for the class. The kids got to experience a shortened circle time, snack time, and play time and also had their pictures taken. Ethan's class is called the Balloon class, and it will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9-11:15am. He already has some "homework" for school as each child was given a cut-out of a balloon that they were asked to bring with them on the first day of school with their name on it and decorated however they'd like. Ethan decided to decorate his with Nemo and Sesame Street stickers, and he also colored on it.
We headed to my parent's house for lunch and enjoyed visiting with them and my brother Mike. The weather was gorgeous again, so we spent some time on my parents' patio gliders, and Ethan also had fun playing a cornhole game.
