Our Toddler's Keen Observation

My mom really wanted to have all of the supplies needed to care for both of our boys at their house as well as our's to make visiting them simpler. When we started potty training Ethan, mom went out and bought a package of Pull-Ups. Since they didn't have Pull-Ups back in the day when mom potty trained my brother and me, she wasn't completely sure what to look for. Not realizing that there are gender specific Pull-Up characters, mom bought and opened the pink package with Disney princesses. That didn't bother us, so we've gone ahead and used them, but it was funny because Ethan asked us, "Who are they?" because he didn't know who the Disney princesses were. When we told him they were princesses, he said "But you don't go pee pee or poo poo on the princesses". Cracked me up (can you tell we've been working with him not to go potty in his Pull-Ups?) The other thing that made me laugh out loud was when he was holding onto his new Pull-Up while I was changing him and he told me, "The princess has toilet paper". Huh? I wasn't sure what he was talking about, so I looked at the picture on his Pull-Up, and sure enough, it certainly looks as though Snow White is holding a big roll of toilet paper (instead of a white winter muff ;)
