Our Puzzling Toddler
Ethan has recently become very interested in doing puzzles. I purchased 5 or 6 for him at a garage sale for 10-50 cents apiece, and they are in perfect condition. What a great find! He had several puzzles at home that were the kind that have single pieces (non-interlocking) that get placed into individual spots. These "new" puzzles are all with interlocking pieces and many do not have any sort of defined border. The first puzzle that he worked on independently and did well with was a Sesame Street one with 24 pieces. He has since successfully completed about 8 or 9 more difficult puzzles. It's amazing to see how quickly he can put them all together- by himself! His favorites now are his truck puzzle (construction vehicles), dinosaurs, Bob the Builder, and Sesame Street.
