Ethan's Second 3D Movie (and first IMAX experience)

While Grandma Q. was visiting, we decided to check out a new local IMAX theater that was showing "The Polar Express" in 3D. Thankfully this theater offered kid-sized 3D glasses, so we didn't have to hold the adult-sized ones on Ethan's face throughout the entire movie (as we did when we saw Fly Me to the Moon). Ethan absolutely loved the movie! I was very impressed with the animation and special effects, though I have actually never read the book before and had been unfamiliar with the story. There were more scary parts than I had anticipated, and they startled Ethan a few times. He didn't seem put off for long by the scarier parts and was disappointed when it was time to leave the theater. I would definitely recommend the IMAX 3D experience!
